مطالب الشعب " ان يرحل مبارك "

"The psychological barrier of fear has been broken," said Shadi Hamid, director of research for the Brookings Doha Center. "Eighty million Egyptians saw [Tuesday's protests]. They saw that it's okay to come out and that there is safety in numbers."

Egyptians' anger has been simmering for years in this police state, where opportunities are scarce and the gap between the poor and a small elite is growing. There have been intermittent political protests here for years decrying the repressive regime, food prices and an emergency law that effectively rescinds human rights in the name of national security.

الغضب المصري عاني من الغليان لسنوات في حكومة الشرطة حيث فرص العمل النادرة وحيث تشهد الفجوة بين الفقراء والنخبة البسيطة تزايد مستمر.

لقد كان هناك معارضات سياسية متواترة لسنوات واصلت شجب النظام القمعي بشدة بالاضافة الى اسعار المواد الغذائية وقانون الطوارئ الذي يضرب بالحقوق الانسانية عرض الحائط تحت شعار الامن القومي للبلاد.

Tuesday's demonstrations were the largest in years and, by some estimates, one of the largest anti-government protests in Egypt's history, rivaled in recent memory only by a gathering across the country organized by the banned Muslim Brotherhood in 2005.

ومظاهرات الثلاثاء كانت الاكبر عبر سنوات وهي تعتبر احد اكبر المظاهرات المعارضة للحكومة في تاريخ مصر. سبقتها فقط تلك التظاهرات التي سبق ان نظمتها جماعة الاخوان المسلمين في 2005.

Although members of the Islamist group are participating in this week's demonstrations, the Muslim Brotherhood has not organized them. Many among the throngs on the streets of Cairo are college-educated Egyptians in their 20s and 30s, with some older. They gathered Wednesday despite a government ban on demonstrations, screaming, "The demands of the people are for Mubarak to leave!"

بالرغم من مشاركة الاسلاميين في مظاهرات هذا الاسبوع الا ان الاخوان المسلمين ليس لهم يد في تنظيم تلك المظاهرات. العديد من التكتلات المنتشرة في شوارع القاهرة تضم شباب مصري جامعي في العشرينات والثلاثينات من عمرهم.

والذين احتشدوا يوم الاربعاء برغم حظر الحكومة للتظاهر والهتافات " مطالب الشعب: ان يرحل مبارك"

CAIRO - The protesters who spilled onto Egypt's streets this week have given the opposition movement here characteristics that it long lacked: spontaneity and roots in many segments of society.

القاهرة : المتظاهرون الذين خرجوا الى الشوارع هذا الاسبوع اكسبوا حركة المعارضة خصائص افتقدتها طويلا وهي العفوية و تاصل جذور المعارضة في كافة شرائح المجتمع.

The demonstrations, which continued Wednesday despite a strong police presence and hundreds of arrests, drew experienced activists and those who had never marched before. There were secularists, socialists and Islamists all walking together and demanding change with a unity that for years eluded Egypt's opposition.

المظاهرات التي استمرت حتى يوم الاربعاء رغم الحضور الامني القوي ومئات الاعتقالات جذبت النشاطاء المخضرمين بالاضافة الى اولئك الذين لم يشاركوا من قبل في أي مسيرات. ظهر علمانيين , اشتراكيين , اسلاميين جميعهم جنبا الى جنب في مسيرات مطالبين بالتغيير في توحد افتقدته المعارضة المصرية لسنوات عدة.

Things are kicking off again in downtown Cairo as protesters attempting to rally are met with fierce police resistance.

الامور تتصاعد مرة اخرى في قلب القاهرة حيث ان جموع المتظاهرين التي تحاول الاحتشاد قابلتها مقاومة امنية ضارية.

Security forces are repeating yesterday's tactics, using sound bombs and tear gas to disperse crowds; protesters that can get access to twitter are calling desperately for help. There are reports of hundreds of beatings and arrests, with many fearful that violence will intensify as darkness begins to fall.

قوات الامن تتبع نفس خطط الامس حيث تستخدم قنابل الصوت والغاز المسيل للدموع لتفريق الجموع .

المتظاهرين القادرين على الدخول على موقع تويتر يطلبون المساعدة.

هناك تقارير حول مئات الحالات من الضرب والاعتقال مع الخوف من احتدام العنف مع اقتراب حلول الليل.

Brief attempts by protesters to gather again on Wednesday outside a court complex in Cairo and in the industrial city of Mahallah el-Kubra were quickly broken up. In Tahrir square, police questioned and moved on anyone who appeared to loiter.

فض سريع لمحاولات المتظاهرين للتجمع مرة اخرى اليوم الاربعاء امام مجمع المحاكم بالقاهرة وفي مدينة المحلة الكبرى. وفي ميدان التحرير تقوم الشرطة باستجواب واستبعاد أي فرد يظهر متباطئ في السير.

In the southern city of Assiut, eyewitnesses said riot police set upon some 100 activists staging an anti-government protest Wednesday, beating them up with batons and arresting nearly half of them..

في مدينة اسيوط جنوب مصر قال شاهد عيان ان قوات الامن انقضت على 100 ناشط تجمهروا في مظتهرة معارضة للحكومة اليوم الاربعاء حيث قامت القوات بضربهم باستخدام العصي في حين تم القبض على نصف عددهم.

الحكومة المصرية تحظر كافة المظاهرات.

El Ministerio del Interior de Egipto afirma en un comunicado que no permitirá nuevas protestas.

El grupo opositor '6 de Abril', uno de los principales promotores de las protestas de ayer, ha instado a continuar con las manifestaciones hasta la renuncia de Mubarak.

الجماعة المعارضة " جماعة شباب 6 ابريل " واحدة من اهم الجماعات في اعتصامات الامس تناشد باستمرار المظاهرات حتى اقالة مبارك.

Entre tanto las autoridades han decidido bloquear el servicio de microblogging Twitter, aunque sigue activa la red social Facebook, a través de la cual los ciberactivistas están haciendo llamamientos a continuar con las protestas contra el presidente y su régimen.

وفي هذه الاثناء قد قامت السلطات بحظر موقع تويتر الا ان موقع الفيس بوك مازال مفتوحا والذي يمارس من خلاله نشطاء الانترنت نداءاتهم للاعتصام ضد نظام الرئيس.

Egypt's interior ministry has warned of zero tolerance for protests today.

صرحت وزارة الداخلية بانه لا تسامح مع المتظاهرين اليوم

Riot police deployed across the Egyptian capital on Wednesday in anticipation of fresh anti-government protests a day after thousands demonstrated nationwide to demand an end to President Hosni Mubarak's authoritarian rule of nearly 30 years.

تم حشد قوات الشرطة في العاصمة اليوم الاربعاء اثر توقعات بتجدد المظاهرات المضادة للحكومة بعد المظاهرات التي اجتاحت كافة انحاء البلاد مطالبين بانهاء حكم مبارك الذي استمر 30 عاما.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement that police would not tolerate any gatherings, marches or protests Wednesday, suggesting that security forces would immediately resort to force to at the first sign of protesters gathering.

اصدرت وزارة الداخلية بيان بان قوات الامن لن تتسامح مع أي تجمعات او مسيرات او تظاهرات اليوم الاربع

حيث ستلجأ قوات الامن للقوة فور حدوث أي تجمع للمتظاهرين.

Protesters are calling for a return to Tahrir this afternoon, where very strong security is in place ready to shut down any sign of protest.

تحديث من مراسل الجارديان البريطانية:

نداء من المتظاهرين للعودة الى التحرير حيث يحتشد الامن على أهبة الاستعداد لاخماد أي محاولة تظاهر.

There's a massive police presence on the streets throughout the city, and reports of small groups of young men being rounded up by state security officers at random locations across downtown.

هناك تواجد امنى كبير في شوارع وسط البلد والتقارير تفيد بوجود تجمعات للشباب محاطة بقوات الامن في مواقع متفرقة بوسط البلد.

Twitter remains blocked for most people - the restriction has been confirmed by Twitter itself - and phone and internet services are still intermittent.

استمرار حظر تويتر. تم تاكيد الحظر من قبل القائمين عل تويتر . ومازالت خطوط الهاتف وخدمات الانترنت تعاني من تقطع.

The Egyptian authorities have put out statements blaming the Muslim Brotherhood for last night's unrest, and claim they allowed Egyptians "to voice their demands and exercise their freedom of expression".

السلطات المصرية اصدرت بيانات تلقي باللوم على الاخوان المسلمين زاعمين ان الاخوان وراء الاضطراب الذي وقع مساء امس. مصرحين انهم سمحوا للمصريين بالاعراب عن مطالبهم وممارسة حريتهم في التعبير.
